The narrative centers on the concept that blood is both the essence of life and the vessel of memories. Set before the advent of the Continental Era, thirteen alchemists consumed Abel the Martyr’s blood to unlock memory transfer through blood, leading to the creation of the first Bloodborn.

The storyline progresses over a thousand years later, during the autumn of 1353, when a devastating Black Blood disease plagued the continent. A young man named Noah from a small town is branded a heretic and sentenced to execution. His fate is intertwined with a Bloodborn girl who appears amidst the flames—believing Noah holds the key to the Bloodborn’s anticipated return to the moon, igniting his extraordinary journey.
